Usher – Flame Trees
I was fortunate to have the opportunity to usher the recent performance of Flame Trees at Theatre Works, written by the acclaimed Wayne Tunks. Working closely with the Front of House Manager to manage the audience access to the theatre, I also liaised directly with the Stage Manager to communicate when the show should commence.
This was a wonderful and surprising piece of theatre, and an excellent opportunity for me to experience another aspect of the backstage. Clear communication and attention to detail was vital in ensuring the show ran smoothly.
I was also lucky to develop some networking opportunities which led to my involvement in the upcoming CLOC production of Phantom of the Opera.
